Glencullen Adventure Park have announced a four-round Downhill League for October to keep the Irish mountain bike race season running that little bit longer.
With the 2019 season beginning to wind down, the addition of The GAP Downhill League will be welcome news for many.
Regarded as one of Ireland’s top MTB bike parks, Glencullen Adventure Park has held occasional Enduro or Downhill events in the past, but this is set to be its first major series.
The Gravity BC Club recently held their final round of the evening summer series there. Going down a hit, it looks like it’s promoted The GAP to go all in for this one.
And with up to 14 trails to choose from there’s plenty of scope, meaning a different track per round.
Better news is that with unlimited uplifts on race day, there will be plenty of track time.
Details for entering to be made available soon, so stay tuned…
