Holding it wide open, Glyn O’Brien gets loose at round two of the Vitus First Tracks Enduro Cup at Big Wood. Send her on, hyi!
Although Glyn’s charging in these videos, the man to beat in Big Wood was Mech Monkey’s Ben Irwin. Ben edged out Glyn by five seconds to take a much-deserved win.
Glyn – with two stage wins to his credit – took the runner-up result by just seven tenths of a second from Scotland’s Ruaidhri Forrester.
James Mac Ferran (Cycleology Racing) finished fourth with Andy Yoong three seconds behind in fifth, ensuring Big Wood once again delivered the goods for tightly fought racing.
In the Women’s class it was a win for Hannah Harvey over Meave Baxter and Hannah Mullin.
The series continues with round three – also serving as the Irish Enduro Champs – at Ravensdale, Co. Louth on June 22-23.
